They Story of Plainview at Eupora
We would like to share with you how Plainview at Eupora began. Our Bishop Ricky Bowen of Aberdeen First Pentecostal Church has a heart for the Kingdom of God. Our Bishop lives each day trying to make the church get to where it needs to be and to reach this world one city at a time. Bishop Ricky Bowen had already started two daughter works one in Hamilton, MS and Okolona, MS. Both of these are now autonomous churches. In 2023 God gave my Bishop a vision of 10 churches. Bishop started getting a plan in action and got the church of Aberdeen on board to do so. In 2024 we started a church in Smithville, MS sand its in the old dollar general building across from the school. God has truly blessed that place. They are seeing great growth in the time and our we are in. Now in year 2025 God has added two more churches one in Eupora, MS and one in Thaxton, MS. Bishop now has 5 of those 10 already on place and in action. We do want to also thank Bro. Nathaniel Rios and his heart beat for starting a church in Eupora. If not for Bro. Rios we wouldn’t be in the building we are in now. Plainview at Eupora is reaching and trying to establish itself in Thais wonderful city of Eupora so if you don’t have a church or even if you do and just want to visit then please come and be with us. Also please forgive us for somethings not finished with the building as we stated this is a new work. There is a short version of our story. We definitely want to say thank you to our awesome home church Aberdeen First Pentecostal Church. Thank you Bishop Bowen and Ministry team and church family, this wouldn’t have been possible without you all. Most of all we give glory to the one and one Jesus Christ. Blessings and Peace be with you all in the name of Jesus Christ!!We’re thrilled to share the journey of Plainview at Eupora. Our Bishop, Ricky Bowen of Aberdeen First Pentecostal Church, has a heart for the Kingdom of God. He dedicates his life to advancing the church and reaching the world, one city at a time. Bishop Bowen had already established two daughter churches in Hamilton and Okolona, Mississippi, which are now autonomous churches. In 2023, God gifted Bishop Bowen with a vision of ten churches. He began implementing this vision and secured the support of the church in Aberdeen. In 2024, we launched a church in Smithville, Mississippi, located in the old Dollar General building across from the school. God has truly blessed this place, and they’ve experienced remarkable growth in the short time we’ve been there. Now, in 2025, God has added two more churches to the mix: one in Eupora, Mississippi, and another in Thaxton, Mississippi. Bishop Bowen has already established five of those ten churches and is actively involved in their growth. We want to express our deepest gratitude to Brother Nathaniel Rios and his unwavering dedication for starting a church in Eupora. Without his efforts, we wouldn’t be in the building we are in now. Plainview at Eupora is actively reaching out and establishing itself in the vibrant city of Eupora. If you don’t have a church or even if you do and would like to visit, we invite you to join us. Please forgive us for any unfinished business with the building, as this is a new endeavor. We’ve condensed our story into a short version. We want to express our sincere gratitude to our incredible home church, Aberdeen First Pentecostal Church. Thank you, Bishop Bowen, your Ministry team, and the entire church family. This wouldn’t have been possible without your unwavering support. Thank you so much and again be blessed in Jesus name! To God be the Glory
